• Kred Story app displays social media influence and interactions on personal profile pages

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – October 3, 2012 – Kred, the community influence and outreach measure, and about.me, a service that enables users to build personal and dynamic home pages, today announced that Kred Story is now available as an about.me app. The Kred Story app allows about.me users to add details of their social media influence to their personal profile so that visitors can easily learn more about them and their interests.

The new Kred Story about.me app displays a visual stream of a user’s most influential social media activity, their communities and active connections. This gives visitors a deeper understanding of the user and fosters new connections. The app is available immediately to about.me users from its App menu.

The Kred Story app creates one-click access to an about.me user’s Kredentials, a summary of a person’s social media presence including their most used words, hashtags and links. Kredentials allows visitors to instantly see what they have in common with the about.me user.

Kred Story also allows about.me users to feature their public social content on their pages, including the user’s Kred Influence score, recent tweets, and a list of people interacting with them most often on Twitter sorted by their Kred score.

“Kred and about.me are a great match because they both have the goal of quickly allowing people to discover things about each other and easily connect,” said Travis Wallis, API Director, Kred. “The Kred Story app allows about.me users to showcase their online influence and personalities, creating opportunities for meaningful connections. It’s a fantastic example of how the Kred API brings value to consumer web applications by integrating social influence and open public social data.”

“The Kred Story app is a great way for our users to show off their influential activity on social networks,” said Ryan Fujiu, who runs Growth at about.me. "Social influence is now an essential part of anyone’s identify, so we are pleased to partner with Kred to offer a way for our users to feature it on their about.me personal profiles”
