First we brought you Kred Rewards and now we are introducing another new way to get rewarded for your social activity. We have teamed up with Badgeville to have our extensive Datamine fuel the Badgeville Behavior Platform. Now social activity on Facebook and Twitter can earn you badges, medals and other rewards.Earn points for social actions like tweeting, following, liking and mentioning your favorite brands and products. The points will add up to rewards such as badges, medals and other prizes. This also gives companies a fun, new way to interact and engage with their fans and get valuable feedback about their products.
This is the first time anyone has added a “gamification element” to social media where social signals are integrated into a gaming rewards system. Gamification is a growing trend that makes technology more engaging by engaging people with game mechanics like challenges, missions and prizes.
The system is currently in beta for current Badgeville and PeopleBrowsr customers, and will be open to the public later this year. Keep an eye out for more news soon.
