Joyent Server
Talking to users, we understood how important reliability is, for them. We never want PeopleBrowsr to be down for maintenance, so we're setting up a Joyent server for our preproduction environment.
It's so important for developers to work on a dedicated development server if preproduction is to be kept tidy. Every new release will be updated on preproduction after testing for demos.

Hi5 is launching the implementation of its Open Social Platform.

At PeopleBrowsr we are working hard on apps building for several web communities and met many Hi5 users who asked us to integrate Hi5 in PeopleBrowsr sources list : the Platform launch is, for all of us, very interesting.

Improvements after testing
In response to the last group testing and our web strategist's advice, we've made some changes to the site and to the apps.
It's been a month of slogging it out but here are the results:
FriendFeed Launches API
FriendFeed, the most popular of the social aggregators, launched its API, enabling developers to acces its data and interact with its service.
After social networks, also feeds are becoming open and social.
Safari 3.1
We have been dreaming about it : Safari 3.1, Apple top performance web browser, is now available for
free download. It's the Fastest Javascript browser in the world and PeopleBrowsr loves it.
