How a product/brand manager uses PeopleBrowsr

My name is Priscilla, I'm PeopleBrowsr product manager;

I'm interested in PB users' experience, ideas, suggestions, feedback and more.
I use PeopleBrowsr as a meta-tool, to monitor the PeopleBrowsr community and buzz.

Here is what I do:

Checking the buzz
I keep PeopleBrowsr running on my MacBook all day. I use it for work and for fun, mostly in Stream view.

Community Development

Here are some new great features to check out!@ johnfairley asked us for "Basically a shortcut to the search for "RT @ myusername" to see any retweets for my tweets", so we created a special Report called 'People Retweeting Me' for you to enjoy. Take also a look at 'Friends' retweet' to see which of your friends have been retweeted.

Community Development

Thanks to all of you for using PeopleBrowsr Alpha and for sending us great feedback.
We read all your tweets and all your messages and here is what we did in the last days:@ Tylergillies wrote: 'If there is a # hashtag in the post and the post gets split up due to length, put the # hashtag at the end of all post segments so all of the segments show up for # hashtag search'.
Done! Now, if there is a # hashtag in the post and the post gets split up, the # hashtag is replicated on both bits of the post.

PeopleBrowsr Wins Graphing Social Patterns AppNite Demo Contest

Washington DC – Graphing Social Patterns.Big smiles : today we won with PeopleBrowsr the AppNite competition for Facebook applications.
We’ve all been working over the week-end and late on Monday-Tuesday to get things done for this first very big demo : five hundred people in the audience, looking at our product for the first time.

Jodee was in Washington presenting, the rest of us stayed here in Sydney testing and making sure that everything was working fine.
Man, we were nervous.
